Thank you for keeping up with PMC news and updates. Our Fall/Winter 2020 newsletter is now available online with new stories from the field — including the story of a PMC show listener who walked 104 miles to pick-up a t-shirt he won during a broadcast of Kwishilya (“Over the Horizon”).
PMC President and Founder Bill Ryerson reflects on the global political environment and why our work matters now more than ever:
It’s essential that powerful entertainment and communications be utilized to raise awareness, open new perspectives and discussions, and change behaviors. One way to do this is to create shows that allow people to emotionally bond with characters they never would have otherwise befriended.
We are storytellers. We use entertainment to improve the health and well-being of people around the world. Our work has impacted more than 50 countries.

By 2050 the Earth’s population is expected to reach 9.7 billion. This growth will devastate our flora and fauna, with each additional person contributing to already critical levels of habitat destruction and pollution.
The 2001 Nepal census put the population at 22 million, and the last census in 2011 had shown it to be 26.6 million. Next year’s count will likely total Nepal’s population to have crossed 30 million.
