Kasamba's Story: Fighting fear and doubt with pen and paper.

When Kasamba was young she knew journalism was her calling, though her family thought differently. She pursued her dream in college and found an exceptional opportunity to write for PMC's Kwishilya ("Over the Horizon") show in Zambia. Kasamba now knows that she made the right choice to pursue journalism simply because of how Kwishilya completely changed her perspective on how social behavioral change shows can and should be written.

stopping physical and sexual violence and more: Umurage impact

PMC, along with Umurage Communication for Development, produced Umurage ("Inheritance for a Better Future") in Rwanda. This 156-episode radio show aired from June 2017 through June 2018 in Kinyarwanda, one of Rwanda’s official languages. The show addressed the themes of child protection, family planning/reproductive health, nutrition, and gender-based violence.

Click below to see the endline findings from Umurage demonstrating changes in Rwandan understanding and behavior related to these issues.
